Navigating Until No One Has To
Informed Care Navigation acts on the belief that no one should face the most consequential medical decisions of their life alone. Our vision is a healthcare system in which patients do not need an independent navigator, because their providers fully support them from a positive screening through treatment. That is not the world we live in yet.
Until it is, what does better look like? It requires understanding your diagnosis, knowing what your options actually are, reaching the specialists best suited to treat your cancer, and having the records and appointments handled for you. We provide all of it free, because survival should not depend on what a household can afford.
Give the gift of clarity.
Informed Care Navigation is a nonprofit founded in 2026 in Houston, Texas. We serve cancer patients throughout the United States.
In our first year, Informed Care Navigation will support 20 to 30 patients and families, at no cost to them. Every gift funds that work: expert navigation for someone facing a diagnosis without the guidance they need.
Informed Care Navigation is a registered 501(c )(3) charity with a governing Board of Directors. Your gift is tax-deductible. EIN 42-3161493
OUR COMMITMENT
Expert navigation should not be a privilege.
Hiring an independent navigator costs $150 to $250 an hour out of pocket. Even with Medicare coverage, navigation requires a copay of $17 to $22 per hour. For most households that cost is significant, and can push families to go without help.
Informed Care Navigation will always be free, with no insurance requirements, no income verification, and no means testing.
66%
of Americans worry about affording healthcare, more than those who worry about food, housing, or gas.
36%
of Americans have skipped or delayed care they need within the past year because of cost.
