WHAT WE DO
This is called a tumor board, and your case may have already gone through one. It usually happens behind the scenes. We help you find out whether it did, when, and what the group recommended. If it has not been reviewed, we help you request it, and if your hospital does not hold one for your cancer, we find a center that does.

About 20% of adult cancer patients are eligible for a clinical trial. Only about 3% ever join, most often because the option was not presented to them in time to make a decision.

We search the registries against your diagnosis, stage, prior treatments, and biomarkers, then work through the eligibility criteria with you. If something looks like a match, we write up a plain-language summary of what the trial involves. You take it to your provider and decide together whether it fits your goals.

WHAT WE DO
Bring us what you have found and we will trace it back to the evidence. A clinical trial tests a treatment under formal oversight with your oncologist involved. Integrative therapies like acupuncture are used alongside treatment to help you feel better, and many have good evidence. What the research warns against is replacing your treatment with an unproven therapy sold as a cure.

WHAT WE DO
Most of what delays treatment is administrative, not medical. We keep a written timeline of every record request, referral, and authorization in your case, so when something stalls we know exactly where it stopped and who to call. We also ask about cancellation lists when the first available appointment is too far out.

We attend virtually so someone is recording the information while you are absorbing. Most people cannot do both at once, and no one should have to.
